Kids in Colorado classrooms are losing focus, sleep, and the hours they used to spend looking up at each other. Phones did that. Your sixty seconds goes in front of parents in your own district and the school board members making the call. You pick which uses you're comfortable with. The campaign does the rest.
What we'll do with your video
Only what you let us. On the form you'll see seven separate checkboxes, each defaulted to unchecked. Tick only the ones you're OK with.
- Run as paid social ads — Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google
- On the campaign website — unplugplugin.org and partner sites
- In op-eds and press
- In emails and SMS to coalition supporters
- Re-cut, captioned, or shortened — but never with words you didn't say
- Localized to your district — labelled "Cherry Creek Parent" or similar
- Attribution your way — full name, first only, or anonymous
What we won't do
- Sell or trade your information. Ever.
- Train AI on your video. No synthetic versions of your face or voice.
- Put words in your mouth. We may caption or crop. We will not splice.
- Pass to political party committees. UP is non-partisan.
- Share teacher submissions with school admin. Or with unions, without your sign-off.
- Use your video in another campaign. If we ever want to, we ask again.
Change your mind anytime — email submissions@unplugplugin.org and we'll pull your video from active rotation within 7 days.
